Returns Policy

Returns are accepted under the ebay rules, the buyer remains responsible for any costs incurred in returning the item. If collected or delivered, please ensure you are happy with the item prior to either leaving with the item, or accepting it.

Items purchased via auction may be returned within 7 days of the item being collected or delivered.  Items purchased via ‘buy it now’ may be returned within 30 days of the item being received. A full refund (including any postage costs, where applicable) will be offered providing the item is returned in the same condition as purchased, including any packaging, boxes, manuals, keys, power leads or any other item associated with the item in question shown or detailed in the listing. If you are unhappy with any purchase, please contact us as soon as possible.

Delivery Costs

If the item has Royal Mail delivery charges quoted, this will take precedence over our own delivery charges. If the item is too large to post via Royal Mail, we do offer delivery as follows.

0 - 10 miles of CT1 3AA                  £10.00

10.1 - 15 miles of CT1 3AA            £15.00

each additional mile (over 15 miles), is charged at 85 pence per mile

Delivery charges are per delivery not per item, many of our regular customers will purchase several items over a period and arrange one delivery. If you would like to purchase more than one item, please ensure a message is sent to us advising that you are still shopping, in order that a note can be placed on items already purchased.

Please message us for an exact delivery costing providing your full postcode. Deliveries are only made during working hours at a mutually convenient date/time. Please note some long distance destinations may require an overnight accommodation charge.

We are also happy for customers to arrange their own courier to collect, please ensure our contact details are passed onto the courier to enable collection to be arranged. Most courier companies will only accept an item if it is boxed or packaged, please contact us first to ensure the item in question can be packaged. A charge of £5.00 will be made for packaging. We are unable to accept any liability for items damaged or lost once collected by a courier arranged by the purchaser.

Items sent via Royal Mail delivery will be packaged to the best of our ability using bubblewrap/plastic covering/padded envelopes where appropriate. Liability for loss in

transit cannot be accepted unless written notification is received within 7 days of despatch. All items are despatched within 3 working days of the item ending or payment being received. If an item is damaged in transit and has been sent via Royal Mail Standard Parcels, it will come under standard insurance. Royal Mail will require the item and all packaging prior to providing any insurance payment. Please notify us of any damage in transit within 48 hours of receipt. If a higher level of insurance is required, please contact us. In certain circumstances, we may be able to accept pictures of any damage in transit, which can be used by us to obtain a refund from Royal Mail, in any case, it is important that you contact us as soon as possible if you are unhappy with any aspect of the delivery quality or packaging.

Collections

Collections for successful bidders are available between Monday to Friday 9:00am – 16.30pm excluding Bank Holidays, please ring 01227 766415 or message us to arrange a date/time, as we aim to arrange collections around deliveries and house/office clearances. We will try to be as flexible as possible, but cannot guarantee weekend collections as we are not on site, and are unable to arrange evening collections. In line with our shop opening days, collections are always available weekly on Monday’s & Thursday’s.

If you will be using a Sat Nav, please make sure you plan your route via New Dover Road or Appledown Way (entrance road), otherwise you will be taken to one of the old farm track’s, which will result in a locked gate as this business park is built on farm land.

Please only bid on our items if you are serious about purchasing the item, due to some customers bidding on items for practice, changing their mind, being intoxicated, or not making any contact after winning items, payment and collection must be achieved within 14 days of the item ending. If no contact has been received after this time and no arrangement for payment has been discussed, a non-payment case will be opened with Ebay. 

Items purchased and paid for by paypal, which have not been collected or contact made within 30 days of the item ending, will be re-sold without refund.

We are happy to accept payment by cash on collection or delivery, via Paypal, or by Cheque, and naturally will require a cheque to clear prior to despatch of the item. Items can also be paid for by credit or debit card upon collection subject to a 50pence transaction fee.

If you make a mistake with a purchase or bid and change your mind prior to the item ending, or after the item has ended, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements for the purchase or bid to be cancelled via Ebay.
